A few words about us
We are a group of friends who have found our place on Earth. For a long time we have dreamt of a house surrounded by nature, located in a beautiful area close to the mountains, with good people as neighbours.
All these dreams have come true.
Every day we are woken up by birds singing instead of the noise of cars, there is no shortage of greenery in the large garden. The Jizera Mountains are at our fingertips, our Foothills also provide plenty of attractions and beautiful places. The Wolimierzans, and more broadly the Izerians, are a beautiful supporting tribe of people who respect Nature, care about it and each other, and share a smile every day.
Marcin is the driving force behind DoWoli, its muscles and cogs. He is in charge of the machinery of the house, to keep guests warm in winter, to make sure everyone always has fresh linen and towels, to keep the rooms clean. Martin is also the chef, he is the one who does not compromise when it comes to breakfast for you. His homemade breads are becoming more and more widely known.
You will talk to him about quantum physics, plants or the bicycle. Together with Piotr, he has cycled through a large part of Europe on pannier bikes. In his spare time, he loves tending our garden and building a smart house.
Piotr (or Petrzik to his relatives) is the helm and brain of DoWoli. His head is full of ideas about what would improve the house, how to liven it up, what festival to organise, how to make your holiday even more enjoyable. He is the author of a guide to our area which you can see here. He loves discovering and bushwhacking new places. He is passionate about hiking in the mountains, cycling and canoeing. So if you need advice on how to spend your time with us, just ask him. Peter is also responsible for larger events. If you’re planning a wedding or a team-building trip, you’ll be dealing with him.
He previously ran several companies, travelled the world a lot learning from people of different cultures and was socially active in several organisations in Wroclaw, where he comes from.
The second Peter (as he will let you know, Chmurek). He provides invaluable support to Martin and Peter in various areas of life. Also thanks to him, it is clean, warm, nice and tasty. He enjoys learning new things, cooking, plants, nature, herbs, mountains and cycling adventures. Together with Marcin, they are in command in the kitchen. If any spreads appear on the breakfast table, you can be sure it’s his doing. You will certainly not regret tasting them. More often than not, he welcomes you on the doorstep, hands you the keys and shows you around the house.
Piotrek Ch. has spent over 10 years of his life in Wrocław. He worked as a salesman and cashier, among other things. He knew he wanted to give it up and stop chasing targets. Today he has no regrets about the change and wants more from life every day, but a 24-hour day is only 24 hours, so he enjoys every second of it.
